Local Legends Luncheon
I am also very proud of our Local Legend Luncheon as we honor outstanding women in the Atlanta area who've made significant contributions to our community, our nation and beyond. At the event, we also give scholarships to area senior high school young ladies on their way to college who get a chance to dine and chat with the likes of Civil Rights Icon Xernona Clayton, Actress Jasmine Guy, Kiesha Knight-Pulliam, Singer-song writer Kandi, Chilli and T-Boz, of TLC, Monica. From the business community we honored Delta Airlines Scarlett Pressley-Brown, Georgia Pacific's Charmaine Ward, Judge Penney Brown-Reynolds and Anchor Monica Pearson.
